bocch is a two-player board game played on a 6×6 board. It runs in your browser, so it is free, needs no sign-up, and you can start a game against the CPU or a friend right away. This site hosts the game itself and articles explaining its rules, opening theory and strategies.

About this game
bocch was made by the operator, a university student with no prior programming experience, together with AI. From coming up with the rules to the board screen, the CPU's thinking and online play, it has been built bit by bit while consulting with AI.
The "Strongest" CPU is an AI that got stronger by playing hundreds of thousands of games against itself. The win rates and evaluations in the articles are counted from games actually played between these AIs, and where the numbers come from is noted at the end of each article.
